Leaping from their winter hibernation now that spring is here, The Computers bound into their first tour of 2010 with their hard rocking old pals Outcry Collective.

These forthcoming dates will give the band an opportunity to test out some of their new material and will be the last chance to see them before they head across the pond and hit the studio.

SUN DIAL SELF-TITLED RELEASE
Cult psychedelic/stoner rock band Sun Dial celebrate their 20th anniversary by returning from the wilderness with a brand new self-titled studio album, released April 26th
A critic's favourite back in the early 1990's, Sun Dial were and are the perfect assembly of grunge, shoegazing and moody late 60's psychedelia. After a rather lengthy sabbatical, the band are back with an album that effortlessly straddles stoner rock, grunge and in places even metal.
This self-titled new album is darker, heavier and with a relentless focus brought about by personal adversity and the determination to show the band's musical talent with no tricks/studio gimmicks. This hardcore approach has led them to what they believe to be their best and most essential release.
In 2003, Sun Dial made a triumphant return with the heavily psychedelic/pop overtones of Zen For Sale. Now they unleash what is without doubt their heaviest and strongest offering to date with blistering guitars and a brutal production.
“We're both very reclusive now,” admits Russ, “And have developed a mistrust of most people as well as a dose of dark humour due to our sometimes ridiculous circumstances.” Add to that Aleister Crowley, occult magic, Hanna Barbera and old horror films and you get the strange melting pot that is Sun Dial.
JAGUAR LOVE HOLOGRAM JAMS
Jaguar Love release their new album, 'Hologram Jams’ on April 26th. It is the first Jaguar Love album to feature the band’s stripped down and rebuilt from the ground up two-piece line up of Johnny Whitney (Vocals, keys, drum machines) and Cody Votolato (Guitars, vocals, drum machines), both formerly of the late, lamented Blood Brothers.
During their short career so far the band’s inimitable sound has inspired the folks at Matador Records, who signed one album and an EP, as well as Fat Possum, who have now signed them to a worldwide deal.
Whilst there are no finalized plans for Jaguar Love to stalk music-loving prey on the road over here right now, the band promises “endless amounts of touring” so watch this space.
SUBSOURCE RELEASE NEW SINGLE
Subsource say – “Four years ago, 20 miles south of central London, four people went into a studio to start a war. Fucked off with so-called live dance acts mincing behind laptops, and rock acts with no more substance than the product in their hair we decided things had to change.
Following the release of October's crowd favourite 'The Reason (parasite)', Subsource's electro, metal and unique take on dubstep influences come to the fore of the socially charged track 'The Ides'.
This single will be released March 29th along with the album 'Tales From The Doombox', which is set for release on April 5th.
Building on the successful release of 'Departure EP' the band's critically acclaimed first release, the Kent-based band kick off 2010 with their huge second single 'Glass Figures'.
The single which preceeds the bands debut album 'The Shapes We Fear Are Of Our Own' (1st March) with a thunderous, engaging, Jeff Buckley/Editors-esque crossover was produced by Paul Schroeder (The Stone Roses, The Verve), Cenzo Townshend (Editors, Bloc Party, Klaxtons) and Bob Ludwig (RATM, Radiohead, Tool).
Motion Picture Soundtrack again assert
themselves as not only masters of the crescendo but excellent at
uniting thoughtful tender moments with out and out crushing rock. With
people across the UK taking a deeper interest in their work and an
ever-increasing number of fans discovering the power of the live show,
they are truly a band to connect with. The coming year could well be
theirs.
